Elisabeth Stevens Provides Unique Insights as a Writer, Artist & Critic

Elisabeth Stevens has been incorporated into Marquis’ Who. As in all Marquis’ Who true to life volumes, people profiled are chosen on the premise of current reference esteem.

Since 1956, Ms. Stevens has been respected for her ability and understanding as a faultfinder, abstract creator and visual craftsman. She first discovered accomplishment as a columnist and artist, contributing articles and on-the-spot, reportorial ink drawings to The New Pioneer and The New Republic and fiction to Mademoiselle.

As a craftsmanship commentator, she composed for The Baltimore Sun, The Money Road Diary, The Trenton Times, Workmanship News, Craftsmanship in America and, in Florida, The Sarasota Proclaim Tribune, Detects magazine, and Radio SQR.com.

In the 1980’s, Ms. Stevens started to distribute scholarly fiction, verse and dramatization, in the long run composing two books, six accumulations of short stories, six volumes of verse, a gathering of short plays, three constrained release, livre d’artiste accumulations of her marked and numbered unique etchings, three inventories of her fine arts and a design manual for Baltimore’s Inward Harbor.

Ms. Stevens got composition grants from Maryland Verse Survey, Lite Circle, Baltimore Essayists Organization together, Maryland Expressions Board, National Enrichment for Human expressions, A.D. Emmart Establishment, and Washington Baltimore Daily paper Organization. She was granted experimental writing partnerships from Macintosh Dowell Province, Virginia Place for the Innovative Expressions, Yaddo, Estate Montalvo, and Ragdale Establishment.

As a visual craftsman, Ms. Stevens created extensive and little metal plate etchings, linocuts and silverpoints and ink drawings regularly utilized as spreads or representations for her books. Her realistic workmanship has been shown in historical centers, colleges and craftsmanship exhibitions in New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Region of Columbia, Florida, New Mexico, Minnesota and somewhere else.

Ms. Stevens is an individual from Writers Organization, School Workmanship Affiliation, American Culture of Visual Specialists, New York Society of Etchers, Ladies Contemporary Craftsmen of Sarasota, and Sarasota Fiction Essayists.
