The father of a relentless truant has said he would Or maybe go to jail than compel his tormented youngster to go to school, it has emerged
Gary Standford is confronting arraignment by his nearby instruction expert over 15-year-old Darren’s disappointment to go to Tunbridge Wells High School in Kent
But he claims that driving his child to go to the school would be the proportional of youngster abuse, as he is being harassed by a pack of bullies
“Putting him into a new school or, on the other hand school would fathom everything yet putting me in to jail – well all that would mean is there will be no one to look after my child,” he said
Mr Standford, who lives in Tunbridge Wells, is due in court before long unless the matter can be resolved,
A representative for Kent Province Committee said taking guardians to court was continuously a last resort
“The instruction welfare officers have been in contact with the family over a number of months what’s more, harassing has not been said as a factor before
“No-one needs this to happen yet it appears to have been the as it were way,” she added
